The Norwin Lady Knights Soccer Team first organizational meeting for the fall 2008 season will be held on Wednesday, March 19, 2008 at 8:15pm in the Norwin High School Cafeteria. All players interested in trying out for the team and their parents are encouraged to attend. Information in reference to the upcoming season and the tryouts will be handed out and discussed. |

Congratulations to Senior Forward Jessica Sharik who was recently chosen for two post season honors. Jessica was selected for the honor of Regional All American by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America, she is the sixth Lady Knight to receive this prestigious award. She was also chosen by the YWCA of Westmoreland County as the Sports Teen of the Year for Excellence in a Team Sport. She joins three past Norwin Lady Knight soccer players as recipients of this tremendous honor, Jennifer Manik in 1997, Ashley Weimer in 2001 and Jessica Fix in 2005. Jessica Sharik finished her career as the holder of five of the six offensive team records of the Norwin Lady Knights. The Norwin Lady Knights have also been honored as the YWCA of Westmoreland County Teen Sports Team of the Year on three occasions, 1997, 2001 and 2005. |
